Termite Proof
This one’s a no-brainer. We’ve never met a termite that will eat steel, and we surely hope you haven’t either! A lot of areas in our beautiful country are riddled with termites, and the easiest way to keep them out of your new home, is to limit their food supply; and build your dream home out of steel!
While treated timber can be termite resistant, it usually requires harsh chemicals & toxins, and can deteriorate over time.
Fire Resistant
Because steel is non-combustible, it is one of the few materials that is fire resistant.
Timber framed homes are generally vulnerable to fire & extreme heat, whereas steel framing could be the difference between fixing your home, or having to rebuild it completely.
Ember proof steel frames reduce the speed a fire can spread, it also won’t add fuel to your fire.

Stronger & Straighter
Even though steel frames are 30% – 50% lighter than comparable timber frames, they are indeed stronger. In fact, steel has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any current residential building product, which is also why steel frames are straighter.
Steel frames don’t warp, split or swell when exposed to the elements, which means you won’t have your windows & doors jamming, or plasterboard cracking.

Our steel frames & trusses are pre-engineered to an exact design, manufactured in our factory, then shipped out ready for construction. This means that you’re saving money & time on onsite labour.
Steel frames are also incredibly durable & won’t deteriorate over time, unlike timber frames.
